📅 Lenten Masses & Devotions

⛪ Additional Lenten Masses

  • Weekday Masses: 6:00 AM every morning (Monday to Friday) during Lent.
  • Fridays: Stations of the Cross (with Communion) at 7:00 PM.

Upcoming Liturgical Dates

  • Sunday, 30 March: Fourth Sunday of Lent
  • Tuesday, 8 April: Penitential Service at 6:00 PM
  • Sunday, 13 April: Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord
  • Thursday, 17 April: Mass of the Last Supper at 7:00 PM (no morning Mass)

  • 28 March: Catholic Women’s League
  • 4 April: Altar Servers & RCIA
  • 11 April: Confirmation Group & Youth (Final session includes Benediction)

Lenten Appeal – Second Collection

The Second Collection during Lent continues until Palm Sunday. Proceeds go toward the Lenten Appeal. Envelopes can be found in the pews.

Lenten Almsgiving

During Lent, we are reminded of the importance of both fasting and self-denial, and giving to the poor. Each week we invite parishioners to contribute a particular grocery item for the St. Francis Society for the Poor.

This week’s requested item: Sugar, Tea, or Coffee.

You may donate a single item or a full food parcel. Donations may be dropped at the parish office.

Catechism Classes

Classes have been suspended for the duration of school exams and will resume on Wednesday, 9 April and Friday, 11 April.


💬 Message for Young Adults

We Capuchins understand how challenging the modern world can be, especially for young people. If you are studying, working, or simply trying to find your place, you may benefit from connecting with others who share your values and questions.

Proposal:

Come together in a “meet and greet” session and consider forming a group that meets monthly for fellowship and reflection.

Example topics:

  • Prayer life with Jesus
  • Understanding Scripture (e.g., Revelation)
  • Identity & discernment
  • Spiritual challenges like climate change, sexuality, or purpose
