🌳 Jubilee Tree of Hope

📅 24 May 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of Pope Francis’s encyclical Laudato Si’.

To honour this, each parish in the Archdiocese was encouraged to plant a tree as part of the Jubilee of Hope.

🌱 At Immaculate Conception, we planted a Cape Ash tree on 16 April 2025. It is:

  • Indigenous
  • Evergreen
  • Water-smart
  • Bird-friendly

📍 Come visit it! Located to the side of the cry chapel next to the parking area.

Together, little by little, we can help protect our home for future generations.

🙏 Jubilee Year Prayer (Shortened Version)

Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your Son, Jesus Christ, our brother, and the flame of charity enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your kingdom.

May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth.

To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever, Amen.
