🙏 A Prayer for Women

God our Father almighty, bless all women.
Inspire them through Mary, that they may continue to see their glorious beauty.
Shower them with strength and faith that they can make a difference in a world disturbed by indifference and hate.
Make them instruments of justice like Esther and Judith, and of real love like Ruth and Naomi.
Comfort them with your promises and empowering graces.
Amen.

🗳️ PPC Elections / Awareness – Overview (Part 1)

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL (PPC) ELECTIONS 2025
Towards White Smoke in Our Parishes

From August to October this year, we will be electing a new PPC—a forum of parish representatives that collaborates with the parish priest in the mission of the parish, which is the mission of the Church.

The election process includes:

  1. Awareness (August)
  2. Nominations (September)
  3. Voting (27/28 September)
  4. Counting votes & setting up the new PPC (October)

As with the election of Pope Leo XIV, this process invites the Holy Spirit to guide us so that we may enjoy the fruits of a discerning and spiritual process—“towards white smoke in our parishes.”

  4. Evangelisation – Being invitational and missionary, sharing the Good News
  5. Parish Community Building – Nurturing relationships & unity
  6. Community Engagement – Outreach, charity works, caring for the environment, migrants, refugees, Justice & Peace
  7. Marriage & Family – Supporting families throughout their journey
