Parish News – 20/21 December 2025 – Fourth Sunday of Advent (Year A)

…as ADVENT continues

The fourth candle of Advent represents Love — the ultimate love of God in sending His only Son for us.

Known as the Angel’s Candle, the fourth Advent candle is lit on the Sunday before Christmas. Its purple colour leads us to eagerly await the coming of the new Kingdom of God on earth.

The Fourth Sunday of Advent turns our attention directly toward the Nativity of Our Lord.
With the Blessed Virgin Mary, we await the coming of Christ, her Son, conceived in her womb by the Word and Spirit of God.

🎄 Our Christmas Wish for You

Dear brothers and sisters,

We — Frs. Kees, Adrian and Dominic, together with Rev. James, our Parish Deacon — wish you and your loved ones a very blessed and joyful Christmas.

Christmas has always been very special for St Francis and for Franciscans, filling the world, our hearts, and our homes with the presence of God.
This event changed the world forever — and continues to change it today.

May this Christmas fill our homes and our world with peace, light, and joy.
God bless you.
