- Second Collection (This Weekend):
The second collection this weekend is for Planned Giving. - Monthly Food Parcels:
The St Francis Society for the Poor requests long-life milk, tea and/or tomato paste. - Altar Servers:
Any young people interested in becoming altar servers are invited to join.
Parents are asked to contact the parish office on 021 591 1911.
Training will take place on Saturday, 14 February at 9:00 am in the church. - Women’s Group:
Will meet on Wednesday, 4 February, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm, and will meet every second Wednesday thereafter. - Patronal Feast of the Archdiocese:
On the weekend of 7 & 8 February, we celebrate the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Flight into Egypt, Patronal Feast of the Archdiocese of Cape Town. - Second Collection (Next Weekend):
The second collection next weekend is for PMS Holy Childhood.
🌍 Pontifical Mission Society – Holy Childhood
The Pontifical Mission Society of the Holy Childhood is the only association of its kind in the world based on the principle of “Children Helping Children.”
The Society invites children in parishes and local schools to participate in the mission of the Church by supporting other children through prayer and financial contributions.
The Society helps to promote the mission of the Church by:
- Building schools
- Providing nutritious meals for hungry children
- Supporting the training of catechists
- Providing financial and spiritual support to children suffering in war-torn nations
- Giving young Catholics the opportunity to live their faith by responding to their Baptismal call to mission
- Supporting programmes that provide children’s homes, orphanages, and hostels so that children do not live on the streets
🙏 Prayer and Life Workshop
A Prayer and Life Workshop is starting at Immaculate Conception Parish.
Come and revitalise your life through prayer and experience the renewed joy of living in God’s presence. This is a transformative and healing workshop, open to all who desire to deepen their relationship with God.
The first of a series of fourteen weekly workshops will take place on:

- A Cake Sale will take place after all Masses on the weekend of 31 January & 1 February.
- The Valentine’s Day Dance will take place on Saturday, 14 February in the St Pio Centre.
