- The SECOND COLLECTION this weekend is for Peters Pence. The Pontifical Society of St. Peter the Apostle supports the development of the local church, particularly the formation of seminarians, religious and clergy. This society has contributed to the formation and training of every priest and religious brother / sister in the conference area over the years, through subsidies given to seminaries and formations houses. It also supports the building and maintenance of chapels, seminaries, classrooms, and the general upkeep of facilities that are used for training and formation. Every single priest who has been through formation in a seminary in Africa has been subsidised by this collection!

RCIA – An Adult Journey in Faith
A new preparation program for those wanting to join the Catholic Church or for Catholics wishing to deepen and grow in their faith began on Thursday 13 August at 7pm.

Dear Parish of Immaculate Conception
The time has come for us to deepen the growth of the Child Safeguarding ministry in the Archdiocese. A small team, drawn from the parishes, will be assembled to achieve this. This is an invitation to interested individuals to consider joining this team.
Some of the activities in this growing ministry will include the following:
- Explore the theology of Child Safeguarding
- Explore and develop new training material – on line material, workshop presentations
- Present parish workshops
- Examine the current Child Safeguarding Policy
- Make recommendations for updating the CSP where necessary

Counseling at our Church
We believe in walking together through life’s challenges, and we are grateful to offer counseling opportunities within our church family.
Group Counseling: Join us every Thursday (starting on 20 August) at 17:30 for a time of shared support and encouragement.
One-on-One Counseling: Personal Sessions are available every Wednesday, offering a safe space to talk and be heard.
